Limassol is counting its impressively increasing number of festivals that have an immense resonance on the Arts and Culture of the city and the island in general. Some of them are very popular indeed, among both foreign and local visitors: Lemesos International Documentary Festival, International Short Film Festival of Cyprus, Cyprus World Music Festival etc.
More specifically, five Cypriot festivals taking place in Limassol stand today among Europe’s finest organisations that have been honoured with the EFFE Label 2015-2016 (http://www.effe.eu/). (The label recipients are evaluated by national experts and an international jury.)
